Osceola Aero has a new owner.  Dick and Carolyn Johnson, long time residents of Osceola have purchased Osceola Aero.  They have been involved in aviation nearly their entire lives.  Dick is a former test pilot for Champion Aircraft in Osceola; with that knowledge and his extensive background in flying, he'll be the one to ask for aerobatic instruction.   Watch for updates.

Block Time for Renters & Students:  Prepay 5 hours and get 30 minutes free; book 10 hours and get 1.5 hours free.

Check out our Ground School page for information about our Private Pilot (& Sport Pilot) and Instrument Rating Ground Schools.    The quality of our training is in the fact that our instructors are associated with and certified by the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC).    Don't forget to check out our student accomplishments.

For our aircraft renters, we have an automated reservation service to reserve reservations online and telephone access reservation service.  Go to www.aircraftclubs.com and log on with your name and unique password.  Give us a call to access this service; no more phone calls to reserve a plane!

Check out the Osceola Airport webpage!   Also, we have Wireless Internet and two computer terminals with high speed internet connection in the terminal building!

We have Jet-A with Prist and 100LL fuel available 24-hours a day.  We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, American Express, Discover, and Multi-Service credit cards at the pumps.  For Jet Service Catering, click here

Courtesy Car -- The airport has a courtesy car available for your use -- first come, first served or call to reserve it.  The keys are in the Weathermation room in the Terminal building.  The combination to the Weathermation room is the first two digits of the KOEO NDB and then "5".

How about a place to stay once you arrive at KOEO?  A full service motel at River Valley Inn & two miles from the airport at 715-294-4060 or check out Croixwood on the St. Croix -- a nice B&B just down the road on the St. Croix River - a National Scenic Riverway.

Golf & Flying - It's a great combination.  Krooked Kreek Golf Club is just two miles from the airport.  Call ahead.

TSA Advisory -- IMPORTANT -- Please read the Security Advisory Information for Aircraft Owners and Operators.   Also TSA - Alien Registration - The Transportation Security Administration has mandated that anyone upgrading their license or obtaining their first license, whether it's Sport or Private, must follow certain procedures BEFORE they begin their initial training.  Click on our link to obtain all the information you need.

The Red Wind Soaring Association has made Osceola their home.  For GA pilots, it's important to know the rules for gliders so that our faster, more maneuverable aircraft can cohabitate safely with the slower, less maneuverable gliders.  Click here for details on glider operations or visit their website.

If you're looking for the perfect gift, we have gift certificates available for introductory flights, lessons, supplies, or ground school, . . .

We are an authorized dealer for David Clark, Inc.  and AVCOMM headsets.  We have on hand David Clark ENC (Electronic Noise Canceling) headsets and we can special order any David Clark or Avcomm part or headset for you.

FAA Request:  Help Reduce the Number of Runway Incursions

  1. Fly the aircraft from chock to chock; not just from takeoff to landing
  2. Check the Airport Facility Directory for the traffic pattern altitude, runways that have right hand traffic and other remarks.
  3. Have the airport diagram ready and refer to it during taxi.
  4. Within ten miles of the airport maintain a sterile cockpit.
  5. Pay attention not only to what you are doing, but also to what other aircraft and ground vehicles are doing.
  6. Copy and read back Air Traffic Control clearances.
  7. If in doubt of your position, contact Air Traffic Control immediately.
  8. Make sure you have clearance before crossing any hold lines and visually make sure the runway and approaches are clear.
  9. At non-towered fields use pilot controlled lighting even in the daytime to announce your presence to aircraft and vehicles that may not have radios.
  10. Do the expected, expect the unusual.
